There are too many firmware bugs for this KM8 device and newer, faster KM9 is the same price.

- No NTFS, Exfat file system support, so can't connect external hard-drives
- Sideloaded apps run upside down
- No passthrough support in Kodi
- No deinterlacing or auto frame-rate switching in Kodi
- VC-1 videos seem to play with a lot of background noise
- Airmouses, back, home buttons not working
- Apps can't write to external storage(fat32 only filesystem supported)
- Android OS runs only in 32-bit mode even if using a 64-bit OS creating performance issues
- No burnkeytools to make Netflix work
- No recent apps screen
- The volume dialog is just a big white block, it seems the text and icons doesn't show or are 99% transparent

I don't know if Gearbest can pressure the manufacturer to fix their firmware?
That's why I didn't buy KM9 because lots of the same bugs are still resent on it, although a few was fixed now.
Almost all the bugs were fixed on similar devices like MiBox already.

This is the reply from the manufacturer more than 3 months ago and now they just ignore you.
