Geekbuying reneges on warranty.

    Geekbuying reneges on warranty.

    i had my roommate order me a gt king from geekbuying. it dies after a month of lightweight use. i had never bought a box from china before, but i have gotten many off of amazon. i did not understand that beelink wasn't responsible for the replacement or repair, so i went round and round with beelink for two months via email. with beelink telling what my next step is to bring the box back to life. (the box flashes ok, but has no video output). beelink asks for proof of purchase, which I produce. then nothing. totally ignored. at this point ive had enough and start accepting that I got burned on the box. im looking around the geekbuying site, and discover that it is geekbuyings issue, and not beelink. that to me is some seriously ****ed up logic.
    back to the issue...
    geekbuying goes the same shit beelink did, flash this, flash that. the box still has no output. at the end of the correspondence with geekbuying, the representative want to pay me off with 40 bucks and have me get the box repaired here, in the US. i say no. i want a box. a beelink gt-king that i paid $110 for, and that took 3 months to finally show up on my doorstep. the reps logic on the $40 was that the box was used. it died after 1 month of use. still waiting on my my gt king. in the meantime i bought a shield. but i dont want anybody getting over on me for anything.
    geekbuying or beelink owes me a king.
    i think they should not have the privilege of selling to anybody outside their own country, unless they stand the products they sell.

    Yep... its quite a nag..when you need to send something back to China

    ?????Hmm..doesn't geekbuying have a US warehouse?
    -perhaps you can send it there?...
    Did you get a Support-ticked.. if yes.. can you post it ( So, geekbuying support can help you at freaktab )

    So, after a month of low use.. it stopped working... some thoughts
    1.adaptor issues? ..try using a another one (same voltage )
    2.HDMI port came lose? ..see if the port is lose
    3.handshake issue between TV and TV box? ...try other TV ( say at friends house )

    Anyway... goodluck

              the offer of $70 is unacceptable. your company is showing that their word is no good.
              liars, cheats, and thieves.
              just send a replacement box, not very difficult.

                Pretty much all online stores..only send a replacement after..receiving the broken item

                One of the Pitt falls of buying from China.,
                pros
                Cheap items

                Cons
                It takes quite sometime to get your parcel
                and
                If something goes wrong...sending items back...and receiving a replacement...takes a lot of time

                Note...I think its still worth it.. as it rarely goes wrong

                don't say bad words about GK...the are trying to help..
                also the did not make the product...the are just one of many resellers of beelink products
