Kernel should read in settings as
    [email protected]#411
I believe bob uses a no overclock kernel from the same source so it's a possibility it's showing the same , if you load cpu-z from the play store it should show your cpu running up to 1700 that way you'll know you've got the kernel loaded
P's this kernel also runs the stock cx919 firmware with no problems giving improvement in video playback and speed , well worth a try

I normally do my initial flash using the 6gb parameter file, so when I want to flash another image I pick the parameter file, then uncheck it. It tells the flash software where to flash the image at and what size it is.

Confirmed that the No-OC 1080p from here continues to have the "Blank Internal Flash" bug.

              steps to flashing oc kernel

i know there have been many versions and tutorials but,

              i am using cs968 with smic v.2 rom(compatible ap6210 chip)

when ever i flash oc kernel it shows up as stock cpu

what are the steps i have to take to flash oc kernel?

i tried to use rk android tool and just flash the kernel after custom rom was installed but its stuck either on boot logo or gets boot loop

tried unpack the recovery.img and replace its kernel with the oc one as well

              boot loop

please someone help ive been trying this for a month and all i have is a stock box with stutter playback or i get boot loops

hey mate thanks for the response, i tried flashing, the parameter file along with the kernel...no luck

boot up and cpu shows 1,416, tried reflashing the whole deal...no luck, even tried unpacjing kernel and boot and placing oc kernel in boot, also removed krnlsinged line from boot.cfg...no luck

is there anything to do before flashing?

i checked and mine is not the T version so its not locked, cant understand why it does that

every kernel itry to flash either bootloops or shows stock cpu after

is shows failed to find metadata before it boots and formats some paritions...what is this???!!!!!!!

I flashed the kernel via the Finless Rom Flash Tool 1.37. Everything completed successfully, but after booting I still see the old kernel in the settings.
It may be because I'm on Finless 1.6b

Is it ok if I flash the boot file from Neomode 1.7, along with the new kernel, on fineless 1.6b?

how to tell if kernel is in boot parition, no matter what i flash the cpu stays stock...cant oc anything and its not the T version cpu its unlocked

read finless also said no kernel in recovery.img, edited recovery.img and still the same

                    someone please help!!!
