I need to upgrade from my older MK808B+ Android TV sticks. We've converted all our DVDs and Blu-Rays, Audio CDs, and photos and put them onto a storage NAS at the house. We've been using a silicondust HDHomeRun Prime with CableCard for TV, but I'm ready to cut the cord and start streaming, and need a new box that will accommodate the streaming apps I'll be using. My plan is to upgrade to Android 7.x and then I'll end up with 4 of whatever we have so we can stream our media, play games, and other such in 4 rooms in the house, allowing me, the significant other, and the kids - and even the guest room, to watch movies, TV shows, play games, etc. This particular MeCool M8S Pro device was one I was already evaluating as a possibility for this upgrade. I'd love to put it to use. Choose me, and it will be loved and cherished by several people in the household. :-D

I'd like to have this box to run Libreelec. I want to run a lightweight JeOS but my current rockchip box can't run it.
