I like shadowblood, it's meant for phone devices but runs ok on my box.

One thing I am encountering is brief freeze when big group of monsters spawn but everything is smooth otherwiotherwise

Sometimes the freeze is just long enough to make me quit

Then I believe that you would definitely like the king of rpgs - World of Warcraft by the way it is the most popular MMOPRG in the world, over 150 million registered users. Nice advice I guess. If we are talking about rpgs then you should try WoW first of all.
