Buyer Beware SD Cards/Big Lots

Big lots has great prices on tablets, but avoid the temptation of also purchasing a SD Card from them. They usually sell Kodak brand. They were on sale when I bought my Nextbook, so I bought 3 8GB SD Cards, figuring I'd have 2 as back-ups. All cards have failed within a 3 month period.

Good thing I also back up to my computer. Anyway, today I went to Best Buy and bought a SanDisk brand card...these come with a 5 year limited warranty.

I can crank up the SDcard speed in built.prop to the max!

Personally if your into tablet perforamnce and putting a lot of video etc on SD, GO WITH QUALITY and the highest Class number you can afford.

Fortunately, Class 10 16 GB cards are reasonably priced now, depending on where you go. I think I share this on here elsewhere, but I learned that the PNY SD card will hold a LITTLE BIT more data than a SanDisk does...
