sd card behavior

i partitioned a sd card yesterday using cwm now when i turn on my tab it says sd card damaged but everything is fine as far as the card itself it works just fine no problems the only thing i figure is its the way the card is seen by the tab that it reads it as its messed up or something any thoughts ? like isaid the card is fine ,im not having any problems at all. im just curious has anyone else encountered this .

Check the card using windows. Good chance the FAT partion is messed up. Windows will ignore the sd-ext partition.

Well Bob I did that it checked out OK, its just a cheap card, I'm not doing it to my 16gb class 10 card I just figured it was maybe getting read wrong ya know. I even reformatted. And ran the partition again, still same thing. No biggie like I said its a cheap 4gb card I was just using it to learn about partitioning a card anyway, but your suggestions are appreciated. Iwould like to have a card with a partition for more internal storage ya know. Thanks Bob.

Try using the tablet to format the card. When it errors click on it and it will ask you if you want to format it. Try it.

ok so i tried using the tablet to format the card nada, so i took and reformatted using windows put it back in the tablet went into cwm partitioned card , so far alls fine this time dont know i guess just a glitch ,but its not reporting damaged card this time so let me ask , do you have to direct apps to the new partition or does it do it on its own this is a new frontier for me ,so im uneducated to how partitions work thanks guys

With the sd-ext partiotion you use link2sd APP from Gplay.
