    Next?

    OK I have cracked the Arnova line of G2 Tabs, The Nextbook 7, and the Polaroid P700.

    FYI... THANKS to others that helped me! I did not do it alone!

    But my point is.... anyone have a RK28 or RK29 Tab that has not been cracked?

    Just ask! I need another challenge

    I really enjoy doing this so I am waiting for the next Tab to be cracked!

    I would love for you to do an ICS tablet! only the Ainol novo 7 basic at the minute but the Ainol 7 advanced has a beta firmware I think

      Damo, thanks for the ask but a little perspective.

      I can crack ROMs because I am a hardware guys that understands software on hardware! So cracking the ROM was not that hard (well it was actually) but not that bad. It was something in my realm of undertsanding. But I am not a kernel compiler or someone that can write code well, or even understand the inner workings of Android OS!! MAN... last time I wrote code,,,, C++ and Java did not exist and we were on VAX systems in OLD Unix.... BINARY CODE my friend! C was just coming of age! So sorry man... I aint that good!

      Cracking ROMs is all about making changes and using exploits to get at something. It's not writing new code to make somehting work like compiling a new kernel! I am not that good honestly but I am learning and enjoying this Android stuff enough that MAYBE..... one day.... I can do what your asking. But not right now!

      So understand I can't even try to do what your asking about getting ICS on a tablet right now. It is so far above me, I feel like a n00b!

      However, I will say this... I BET there is not a RK28 or RK29 Tab out there that I cannot get full root on now! That's what I know today. Later... maybe I can get good enough to do what your asking

      Only time will tell and my desire to learn!
      All I can say is I am having a CRAP load of fun!

                  Hi, when I bought my Arnova 10b G1 I hoped custom firmware would be ready soon (there's just a beta-version on arctablet.com). Admin sad me that they are too busy with G2 generation. Cyanogen Mod isn't working normally at all.
                  So, can You root an official Firmware for this device? "/system" mounted in read-only file-system and I have no chance to make any changes in configuration files (like ad-hoc & 3G stick support).
                  Can someone help me?

                          The Arnova 10 is resistive screen and the 10b is capactive screen correct?
                          You have the 10b capactive?
