You really want to know? Here is the answer.

Share what’s on your phone on the big screen.

Android 4.2 allows devices to enable wireless display. You can share movies, YouTube videos, and anything that’s on your screen on an HDTV. Just connect a wireless display adapter to any HDMI-enabled TV to mirror what’s on your screen quickly and easily.


I don't need that. It is something more for advertising, I think. You let a video clip run on your tablet and every monitor in range will play with the adapter.

Or if you are the video DJ or your own TV show director for your family. They watch in every room of the house, what DJ Papa put together.

PS.: Maybe there is an application for Tatty for that feature.
When he creates a tattoo and he is connected to a hot spot, then everybody who comes in range could see an art live show. Maybe not bad for advertising.

Wireless Display?

I haven't heard if anyone got one of those receivers. Geekbuying has them, I think.

Wifi display will work between 2 android devices. Both have to be 4.2.2. Just run the wifi display app and connect to the other device.

My nexus 10 doesn't have this all. Can someone share the apk,to try it out?


Also I dondt have it on a custom rom my HTC phone

Try Shortbeam app from Playstore.

It's free. Not mirroring like this is, but it will send movies and music to your TV stick. If you leave the eHome Media center app on your TV stick as the share it will let you take over your screen from your tablet or phone. Only with local media, but it's pretty snappy.

Well finally I now have two 4.2.2 devices. I'll give it a shot and report.

Any progress with this?i have a samsung S3 and an UT1.I connect both unit all ok but when the link is done the picture on tv change in pink and that's all.I must restart the UT1.........What is the problem?
