A root file manager that launches apps as separate activities?
A root file manager that launches apps as separate activities?
I think I've used the right terms in the title. I'm not keen on the way that when I launch a video from ES Explorer it shows as ES Explorer playing the video (via VLC) in the task switcher and replaces the listing of open directory.
The built-in file manager does not do this. It launches separate activities for each task initiated, and I like this approach.
Currently I use a few different tools, so a file manager that behaves like the built-in one, but with decent performance and root access would be well suited. I've tried a lot from the store but I haven't found this feature set yet. Does anyone know of one?
