I believe the Pendoo X6 is exactly the same hardware to the Tanix TX6, I only have the TX6 device, but I do plan to try and test the last released X6 firmware in my Tanix sometime later this month. If if you are looking for a custom Android Firmware, then you most likely will not find one unless the guys at 4pda have succeeded in modifying Allwinner ROMs with Pie.

i have the same boxes pendoo x6 pro they are indeed tx6 knockoffs.. this firmware works on mine https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...al-android-7-0
i also gave the latest pendoo firmware a shot (https://chinagadgetsreviews.com/down...ro-tv-box.html) , and although it was an improvement from the firmware that came on the box, it still didn't solve my issues of choppy video playback.Comment

so is the custom firmware better than the new firmware from pendoo? I will try that custom rom specifically. i just use a male to male cable with the software ? i will figure it out. is the video problem solved? I use STB EMU IPTV and the video playback stinks. the screen blacks out which makes me miss the stream for few seconds.Originally posted by pcdude28259 View PostComment
