How to format external SSD

I have a 1TB external drive with a USB enclosure. It's a nvme m.2. I planned use it for a windows laptop but eventually just decided to use it for storage.
I have a Chinese program call EaseUS Partition Master, and I can basically format it any way I want. I am tempted to use NTFS but I wonder if that will work with Android.
I want it to work with all my systems which are Linux, PC, Android. So how would you format it?

or if you like terminal convert laptop to ubuntu....and use Ext4
wait a solid state drive...
