LG Smart TVs with Google TV anre being updated to Jelly Bean 4.2.2

I've already received the update and while it has improved some things, these tvs are in dire need of root and custom roms. Anyone looking into this?

I would say that not only for LG Google TVs, also for the others Google-TV Units like the Sony NSZ-GS7/8, the Sony NSZ-GT1 and the Logitech Revue...


I am the owner the following Google TV Box:


4 SONY NSZ-GS7/8 - 2nd Generation Google-TV with ARM Chip, That hopefully are going to receive this month the latest Jelly Bean 4.2.2 update.


4 Logitech REVUE and 1 Sony NSZ-GT1 - 1st Generation Google-TV, That Unfortunatelly not will get any Update anymore and will Stay forever with the Old Honeycomb, due to the fact that they use Intel chips and not ARM.


I really think that something should be done, to renew all these out dated Google-TV Units, to a new Android System.


I also have one CX-919 with neomode 1.7 ROM, just to be able to use a more up to date android system in my TV!

Any update about root and custom ROM for Logitech-Revue or SONY-NSZ-GS7/8 Google TV Box?

I made some search and found that GTV-Hacker was working on Full Root for the REVUE and a partial Root for the SONY Google-TV, but don't know if is possible or not...
