How to debug H96 Max RK3318 4+32 using USB male-to male cable?

Can anyone please tell me how to debug h96 max using USB? I have tried several methods like holding the reset button and plugging the USB. In USB 2.0 no display shows but a driver comes in device manager named "class for rockusb" but still adb and fastboot don't work. In USB 3.0 the device show display but says "no command" with a lying android and warning triangle. In both USB plugging it without reset button, device powers on and nothing happens in Windows 10 as if I did not connected anything. I am not sure if I have updated drivers as nothing happens after running it. ADB drivers are also showing error code 10. I am stuck between these!

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm

    The RK 3318

Not sure if you have turned on/enabled Developer Options/Then enable USB Debug in options

    In settings/System/about device/info/

Click on Build or Android Version 7 times or More
You should see a prompt .....
    When Developer Options Enabled
Move to there in Settings and turn on USB Debug

When I am turning on USB debugging, nothing is happening as if I did not connect tv box to laptop. "class for rockusb" driver is coming only when I am holding the reset button and plugging in USB 2.0 in TV box. But here no display is showing

        Hi zord541

What i described above was how to do it physically
With TV Box Remote or mouse/etc/ to navigate/ system settings

What are you trying to accomplish?
Besides just being able to read device/send commands

ADB could be a multitude of reasons

Probly Driver issue like you posted
        USB Driver for ADB

Maybe Windows version 10 /Try version 7 if available
        Forgot to check discover device/etc.....

Maybe wrong USB Port/May need USB OTG Port/ usually port beside TF/Micro/SD Card Slot

There is some good reading at developer/android/com
