A quick look at the Vernee UI

One of the main things that attracted me to this phone was the 21MP camera and can say its the best camera iv used on a phone to date.It has the PDAF function f/2.2 aperture 6 piece sony lens. And wow im impressed with this the images are so crisp and clear its hard to beleave there from a smart phone.

Back-camera: 21.0MP with flash light and AF
    Front camera: 8.0MP
    Video recording: Yes (4k)

    Some Camera Photos

    GPU: Mali T880
    RAM: 4GB RAM
    ROM: 64GB

The vernee Apollo Boots up in 30 secands taking you to the clean looking home screen and from the photo below you can see it dont come with loads of chinese crap installed. The charging time on the Vernee is fast About 3 hours from 0 to 100% charge. Its also nice to have the type c charging point as theres no putting the charger in the wrong way,It also supports OTG connection.

    Home screen

    App Draw

The screen itself is bright and so vivid with the 2k screen, With a Screen resolution of 2560x1440 and amazing viewing angles for enjoying movies and playing games. The phone in this review also came with a screen protective film (Not a glass one just a cheap one by the looks of it)

The Vernee has the navigation bar buttons that sit below the screen: one takes you to the home screen, one takes you back a step, and one brings up a list of open apps,You can also change to latout the the navi buttons in the settings.

Another thing i liked about this phone was the finger print scanner, Iv had a finger print scanner on my last 2 phones and i do love it But with this vernee Apollo iv got the finger scanner is not that good, Only working at most at 50% of the time also tried setting it to every finger on my hands to get the same outcome (Sorry please try in 30 seconds)Arhhhh Ok you dont have to wait 30 secands to use your phone you can still type you pin to get access.Im keeping my fingers crossed this will get fixed in an OTA update.

    Network
    Wireless Connectivity: 3G,4G,A-GPS,Bluetooth 4.0,GPS,GSM,WiFi
    WIFI: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless internet
    Network type: FDD-LTE+WCDMA+GSM
    2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
    3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz
    4G: FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz

Notice the Vernee Apollo comes with the band 20 (800MHz)
The phone signal is nice and strong iv not had a problem with signal as of yet
Also the WIFI on ther Vernee is strong and is picking up a lot of local networks other phones dont

    Other Features
    I/O Interface: 1 x Micro SIM Card Slot,1 x Nano SIM Card Slot,3.5mm Audio Out Port,Micophone,Speaker,TF/Micro SD Card Slot,Type-C
    Bluetooth Version: V4.0

    Additional Features: 3G,4G,Alarm,Bluetooth,Browser,Calculator,Calendar, Fingerprint recognition,Fingerprint Unlocking,GPS,MP3,MP4,People,Wi-Fi

The Phones 2k screen comes to life when your viewing the photos you have taken this is where you notice the screen quality, making them look like there so real and coming out of the phone almost(But a draw back to the 2k screen is it sucks the battery life)Between 2 & 3 hours is the most your going to get when using the VR headset or gaming. But with that said normal day to day use as a phone you will easly get a full days use from it.

    Some Tech Stuff

    Antutu Bench Mark

    Antutu Video tester

    CPU Z

    WIFI (Dual Band 2.4/5Ghz)802.11a/b/g/n/ac

The big selling points to me are the
    2k Screen
    Deca core GPU
    21MP Camera
    4GB RAM/64GB ROM
    All Metal Body
    OTG Function

    The draw backs are
    Finger print scanner needs improvement
Battery life is not so good while using VR & gaming

Thanks Riscydude,This one has been a real pleasure to review. The camera on the vernee Apollo is just Amazing..

Going to test another Camera app over the weekend as in the past iv found that open camera often gives even better results than the stock camera app :-)

Looks like a nice kit overall.

I have tried many camera apps, cannot remember if I tried Open Camera, but anxious to give it a try. Thanks for the link.
