    Highlights

    Android 8.1
T95Q is one of the first TV Boxes to run on Android 8.1 (an update to Oreo). This software update allows for a great user experience with steady performance.
    Amlogic S905X2
This Amlogic S905X2 processor fully supports premium 4K UHD video. This powerful 64bit CPU and ARM Dvalin MP2 GPU combination handle 4K graphics better than most products on the market.
    DDR4 4GB RAM + eMMC 32GB
It uses a DDR4 4GB RAM and an eMMC 32B for better performance, security and reliability
    2.4G/5G Dual Band WiFi
With support for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band, it can transmit higher amounts of data.
    True 4K Media Player
While your average media box might only accept 1080P video playback, this gadget plays 4K video from almost any source you can think of. Furthermore, it uses VP9 hardware decoding alongside the H.265 to bring fantasy into reality.

Is it an OTA update or is it a custom ROM to install manually?
            Thanks for the answer

That's a custom rom installed manually that will work on most s905x2 devices.

Its still in the WIP mode at the moment and not ready for public use.

But some good news is there will be a android 9 coming for the T95Q in the next 2 months from sunvell.

Is it box problem or firmware please respond I even sent you pm stcuk on this issue please help

                    Hi guys,

i just received my T95Q today, i set the box up but noticed two issues on mine. Can you please share with me if you have the same issues ? Or if i miss steps of setting it up ? I upgraded the firmware to the 8.1 oreo/ Version T20008 and dated March 25. But the issues.remained the same.

                    1) Only 50% of Internet speed: i dont use wifi and only used wired LAN to connect the box to my router. But i noticed the internet speed only reached about 50% of the supposed speed rating. My ISP provides me gigabit LAN through fiber optic but now constantly showed 450 Mbps range. I confirmed there was no problem with my ISP connection today as My Shield TV recorded correctly side by side.

                    2) The "Picture" setting only default "user" option and disallowed others like "standard"/"vivid"/"soft" etc ... Regardless how i set other picture settings or resolutions.

can you please advise ? Appreciated

                    Larry

Hi , I've had my box T95Q for a while now it's not perfect but I found a way round most shortcomings however today I have found another bug and I'm afraid if I can't sort it it will go back the problem is that the fly mouse works ok as long as the other USB has nothing plugged in it once you plug anything in the free USB port you have to stand next to the box for the fly mouse to work ie the range is massively redused . Any help with solving this problem would be much appreciated . The box is on it's original software plus the usual apps etc .
                        Thanks

I had the same problem. I have connected a usb hub to my T95Q. The remote dongle is in the hub.

There are a number of sources for the T95Q

How do I ensure I get one made by Sunvell?
