Today on a vey hot summer night I have Lee Ritenour for you. Not too jazzy, more funk inside - how I like it.

No doubt JD. A rare jewel. Good choice.

I have been listening to a lot of newer and older blues lately. There is a heap of good talent in that genre. I have some standalone internet radios around the house. They have been a great source of new, old and unheard of artists in all genre. But they are excellent for hearing stuff I have not heard elsewhere. Ultimately a TV box will fill that role as our radios age out. I had initially thought the boxes with the built-in screens were without purpose. However, now I'm thinking, as a net radio, not having to have the TV on to use, they would be ideal for this purpose.

              Thanks for the tunes.

SRV, a force of nature and true guitar god.

Died just a month before I was due to see him live.

Did get to meet his brother Jimmie at a gig in Kalamazoo, MI in 2001 though, where he waxed lyrical about Stevie.

There aren't many female blues artists but this one is an upcoming star with a touch of Janis in her voice.

Long time no new music here.

                  Okay, time to change it.
