Try it with Frama Root from XDA this should Work.

SEVERAL try soft
root genius last failed at the end with mtk droid
and Kingdroid
In short, I do not even know how I did it.
I had to manually install supersu with mtkdroid tool
but it's good I have root on my leagoo lead 3

You can root LEAGOO Lead3 with the original recovery,no need PC,no need driver.
download file " root_LEAGOO_Lead3.rar ",
extract, and place the update.zip at sdcard(internalSD),then follow this.

If you mean is there a way to confirm root, you can install an app from the play store to do it.

i say i have root aces, i can t check it whenn the phone ist ready rooted.

I lost my root by an update and i Try this update.zip from mmrrdd. no works
i have try to root with
MtkDroidTools_v253
works just click to superuser and finnisch...

I used iRoot, (formerly vRoot) and it worked without a hitch.

Afterwards, I installed SuperSU and removed the chinese superuser app with a system app remover app.
