Need help installing Google Play Store

    Greetings.

Have a MIC MT6752 that doesn't come with Play Store installed. It is also not rooted.
Appreciate any advice on installing it, without rooting the phone if possible. OS is 4.4.4.

    Many thanks and best regards.

First go into settings, security and tick "Unknown Sources".
Then download play store app http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1996995
Wait until it has downloaded, tap the notification and select install.

Greetings Colin. Thanks for the kind reply.

      1. Is root access required?
      2. The device also lacks Framework Services and one or two other pieces of supporting files. How to install these?

      Many thanks and best regards.

You don't need root to install an app.
I'm afraid I cant help you with the second question. I don't know.

I'm afraid you will need to root your device. That is how I did it. Once rooted you copy the files to the /system/app folder. Then you have to set the necessary permissions on those files and finally reboot. Hopefully if all goes to plan you should see the play store icon.

              1. What are the files required?
2.Can the apks be installed rather than being copied over? What's the difference?

              Many thanks and best regards.
