Hello All ,


Im super confused about the whole process of the custom rom installation. Right now i have a stock version u65gt with firmware version 2.0 . I have rooted successful the tablet and i want to install the custom rom.

I download lepi custom rom . Inside the rar i found a lot of files and a boot.img.

What do i need to do with these files to install them ?

Check out post #145 to get a custom recovery. I recommend Lepi's TWRP 2810. Leave the zip file zipped up and put it on your sd card (internal or external does not matter). Boot to new recovery and follow Lepi's instructions. You should now have a custom ROM installed.

No, it doesn't mean that is for the white version of the tablet, but simply that has a "white" look!!!

flashed original recovery with flashtool, gave error but worked. i wonder if x64 win8.1 has something to do with it? i'll try x86 win8.1....

Is anybody has all files somewhere to download them ? I am confused about where to find all this files (recovery images , etc, ) . Also which is the correct way to flash custom firmware ? Other i see use flashtool others something else .

No, it doesn't mean that is for the white version of the tablet, but simply that has a "white" look!!!

I stand corrected; you are right. I have flashed the "white" versions on my black cube with no problems. My bad.

Tried with SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1444.00.000
This gives me error : "pmt changed for the rom"

Tablet still works and nothing changed.

Maybe I need correct "version" of scatter file or something...

scatter file is included in the custom rom you are trying to flash,
I'm using an older version of SP_flashtool than yours

Older tool just "fails" but flashes the recovery.

This site is for Cube Talk9X U65GT_V2.0_en_mod_Lepi which you flash using TWRP. For the ROM you have downloaded, try here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...of-4-July-2014

any differences between v2.0.1 and v2.0.2

Hi everyone,

I am new here though I have had my Cube Talk 9X for w few months and have also downloaded 900SuperSport and now Lepi's ROMs for use on my Talk 9X.

I'd like to know one thing though ... Is there any specific differences between the V2.0.1 and the V2.0.2 or just the theme color (White as in the case of V2.0.2)?
