Hi..okay not sure if this will work but worth a shot..power off the cube and once powered off..hold the power button for about 1 second and then release and then right away hold the volume up button down until the cube just starts and release. you should then on the left side of the screen about half way up the screen a small white menu should appear..by tapping the volume up button it will select on that little menu and select Uart which is at the bottom of that little menu and then press the volume down button and this will load that selection.

Now just leave the cube load by itself and it will go to a testing screen which will also disable any rooted apps on the cube...here you can test the camera besides other stuff and see if the camera works and also the front camera can be tested also..if the camera opens when you choose camera hit the selection in blue to take a pic and see if it does.

If the camera loads though then it most likely due to an app that has affected the camera or the camera app itself could be corrupt and the camera may not load at all..if the camera loads and taking a picture works, then one of the apps you installed may be affecting the camera not to work and you will have to start uninstalling them one by one to see which one is the culprit, or there is an option which you will see that says factory settings, if you go into there you can wipe all user data and downloaded apps if you would like to do this but you will lose all the stuff you added..do not hit the back button on the bottom of the screen as it will take you out of this testing screen and you will have to do the procedure above all over.

This is up to you if you would like to do this as if you use the factory setting selection and clear it all out you will lose all the stuff you added, if you do not use this option your stuff will still stay in from just testing it..you will just have to give the apps the root permission again afterwards is all and some shortcuts might be missing..but nothing will be lost..hope this helps you out in your situation.

If this does not help you situation..then most likely a hardware problem..but i am not 100% sure on that part yet.

By the way I remember I had the same camera problems on an old galaxy tab tablet when I deleted the stock email apk and had installed k9 mail.
I mean had you deleted any system app from the device. Just a thought..

So what you suggest do not clear data and android secure?

Well if you are just updating to a newer rom version but it is the same rom you should only have to clear the dalvik cache and cache only. But if you are going to a completely different ROM then a full wipe as lepi mention should be done..otherwise problems may arise.

Use GMail and be aware at captcha code. Captcha is just an mathematical exercise (nothing to copy)... in that bottom box you write only result.
Just translate captcha code and write only result in box (use only numbers) and will work.

My tablet runs the v2 stock rom. With this rom there is a problem with physical keyboards. For example w key is not working. This happens because there is an error in keyboard mapping. When you press the w key in the keyboard the tablet executes the w gesture and if w gesture is not assigned to anything then the tablet does nothing. In order to fix this problem and make w key working (and of course all the keys that do not work) you have to edit the generic.kl file which is found in the /system/usr/keylayout folder.

This is what my generic.kl contains and works perfect with my sigmatek usb keyboard case.

In order to edit this file or replace it with a new one you have to mount the /system as rw.

To do this:

Open ES File Explorer..

Select menu-> Switch on Root Explorer under Tools.
Again click on Root Explorer.
A pop up window will appear.
Select Mount R/W -> Select RW option from the new popup for '/' and 'system'.

Hi to all, today I finally recieved my tablet and now I want your help.
B1451 in serial 32GB with a rom from UK without Chinese apps ( clean ) .
I first wanted to backup my rom my IMEI nvram etc, before I will try to flash bigger partitions, recovery, and custom rom.
I checked Usb debugging, and also all my drivers for storage, preloader, Meta mode are installed correctry , I have also a MTK 8389 device too.
Using MTK Droid tools I could not have root access through root button, so IMEI/NVRAM backup and Blocks Map -- scatter file creation was dimmed.
So I tried to root using root genius. After 5 times of rebbooting through root genius I had the message, very touch device, I cannot root it.
This is my first device root genius cannot root a device. After I tried mmrrdd's root file via stock recovery, it rooted ok, I had super su installed, but with MTK Droid tools pressing root button , I had error message, I could not have root access.
Then I tried root genius again ask supersu to give access to root genius, it succesully rooted this time, I have root access through MTK Droid tools but still IMEI backup and scatter file creation was dimmed.
Then I made a backup of my tab using MTK Droid tools, and one more time using SP flash tools and readback option.
Backups created perfectly.
Next step was to flash recovery and EBR files, I flashed TWRP_2810_light_LEPI+newTheme.zip extracting the recovery.img perfectly, the I tried to flash first the Ebr 13gb kitkat, using EBR1 and EBR2 through SPflash tools, I got a tablet not booting stock in chinese logo, I tried to flash it through recovery, the same problem, I tried the Ebr 10gb kitkat the same problem both ways.
Flashing my EBR1, EBR2 from my back tablet booted ok, The I flashed partition_6gGIG.zip from this forum extracting EBR1 EBR2 with flash tools, I got a perfectry booting tablet with 6GB internal space, and after formating I see and the rest as internal SD
Because I install a lot of apps is there a way to have the about 26GB I have split in two pieces?
Has anyone managed to make the 13GB or 10GB partitioning to work in 32GB model?
I cannot extract my scatter due to dimmed buttons, has anyone a better idea
I also tried to root again with root genius but the same happens.

And also ofcource I had managed to get 6GB internal partition no more ( I wished 13GB )

I'm only on mobile this weekend so I don't have time to look at this issue. I will check tomorrow.

I see you got help with EBR files from other thead. Try them. Also check that you have latest SU binaries instelled. You can always use Link2Sd method for bigger app space. It is not as good as EBR files method but it is working.

I don't know for sure how to install it. I believe that it has to be flashed via recovery but I don't know if custom recovery (TWRP, CWM...) or root is needed. Maybe you can try via stock recovery with root. There is no mentioned that custom recovery is required. Often devs say if custom recovery is needed. In other patch SLK88 says when TWRP/CWM is needed (23. Patch for CWM / TWRP for re-initialization of memory for 4GB.). Devs like Lepi knows better since Lepi has added multi user support in his roms.

UPDATE:

Since the zopomobile patches ended up to bootloop, I have deleted the link from first post. Sorry for people who suffer this problem. There is now new patches (10Gb and 13Gb) made by azaotl and linuxovios. Those patches has been comfirmed to work with Talk 9X 32Gb tablet (thanks to leotzian for testing). I don't know if they work with 16Gb.

I did also add info "how to fix external keyboard issue" link. I was already forgotten that problem so that is why it wasn't added earlier.
