I'm getting a bit board with kitkat on my tablet . So I though about porting to Cm12 or Cm13 . I'm willing to give this ago but after much internet research I'm still confused . The process for mtk device doesn't look particularly hard . But I only see tutorials for mtk6582, mt6592 and 6589 . Nothing referencing mt8392 chipset . Is there a reason methods such as this
won't work
I have lepi rom installed and TWRP recovery installed already so can back up incase anything goes wrong . But wondering what the gotchas are .
