    If you know of another RK29 tablet that supports that stick, I can possibly use the drivers.

    Hi all - I have an E180 stick working well with Bob's excellent 1.4 ROM.

    Here are some instructions for anyone who's still stuck.

    Go into settings, Wireless & Networks and then :-

    * Switch off WiFi - this is to save confusion later on
    * Select Mobile Networks
    * Tick Data Enabled

    Next :-

    * Plug in your E180 - green light will start to flash on it
    * Wait for 15-20 seconds - green light may turn blue if high speed data available
    * Watch tablet status bar - signal-strength bars appear where WiFi status was before

    If you get a signal, try browsing and see if that works.

    Once you've got a signal, that proves the tablet, ROM and stick are all compatible.

    Anything else is user and operator configuration.

    An additional 3G symbol will appear beside the signal-strength bars if you're authenticated.

    If not, then still in Wireless and Network settings :

    * Select Network Operators
    * Select Search Networks

    A list should appear after a few seconds - T-Mobile, Vodafone etc.

    Select yours and try again.

    If still no luck, then last thing to set is your Access Point Name or APN.

    Settings here vary by operator, but typically need an APN name, user name and password as a minimum.

    You may have to edit an APN that's already there, or configure a new one.

    Once that's all done, you don't normally have to do it again unless you re-flash etc.

    Just plug in your data stick, wait for the bars to appear and you're good to go.

    Rgds,

    Jim.
