    ARNOVA 10-G2 GINGERCOMB 2.0B Game testing

    Thanks to Gamer819 for the idea to have a thread to get together a list of compatible games for the Arnova 10.G2 Gingercomb 2.0a Rom. So come on guys lets get this list going!

      I was playing Fragger or Hambo with the 1.4 and 1.5 roms, both games worked fine and are both free.

        I will check for you. I get most of my games from Amazon because they are cheaper. The game Fragger is the one that quit working for me at the moment and I got it as a free "download of the day" game. Since it was free to me at the time, do you think it would be fine if I send you the APK?

          Hi all, As you can tell from my screen name, I am all about the games! Thoght this might be a good place to discuss which ones work and which ones don't.

          Thanks to the brilliant Gingercomb rom, we have the ability to play a few more titles. I have tons of time and an understanding wife so I wanted to offer my services in finding out if games work or not. I ain't skared to purchase and refund so, hit me up if you want me to check one out. My focus is mainly HD games. So, on to my list:

          9mm
          Gangstar: WCH
          Splinter Cell: Conviction
          Tintin
          Assassin's Creed :Altir's Chronicles &amp; Revelations
          SPIDERMAN : Mayhem
          Brothers in Arms 2

          Scrubs
          World Of Goo

          Worth noting is that this new Rom gives you the ability to run games in "Compatibility Mode". If the screen doesn't scale properly, this will fix it.

            Downloading fragger now. I will see if logcat gives me any clues. May take some time.

              It is playing fine for me!

              However something I did not tell you all yet. Chainfire 3D works on this ROM so I do have that installed. I will see what happens when I remove it.

                  OK fragger works when ChainFire 3D is installed. When it is not installed it force closes.

                  I think I know what it is. An incompatible Open GL driver that I probably need from the original 10G2.

                  So the quest to fix this is in process.


                  If you guys install ChainFire please be ready to uninstall the driver using the chainfire menu as I want to test games WITHOUT it please.

                    I wasn't using Chainfire before so it might give me the ability to play other games? Can't wait to try it! Thx!

                    p.s. Hey Bob, what is the best setting/plugin for CF? I wanna try and get Shadow Guardian running again

                          Was fragger working on my 1.4 or 1.5 ROM?

                          Logcat is not showing me much this time. Just a fatal exception but not why. It has to be some lib file I am missing. Anyway again was it working before?

                          I want to get it working without chainfire as there is obviously some problem still remaining in my ROM if this game worked before.
