Question - ROM 2.0 for Arnova 10 G2 about to be released

    Question - ROM 2.0 for Arnova 10 G2 about to be released

    OK I believe I have all the bugs worked out for my 10 G2 2.0 ROM called "GingerComb". It is built from the ground up by me. Well partially from the ground up But it is a totaly custom ROM with Honeycomb interface on a GingerBread kernel. Everything to port this was done by hand and is all my work. Thats why I say from the ground up

    But before I release it I want to ask everyone an opinin. I will DEBLOAT this ROM but do you all want Google Play pre-installed? Or leave it out and let App Injector install it?

    Folks... I have been testing the final ROM all night.

    THIS THING IS SMOKIN!
    Its' fast and very responsive!

    I have the build.prop setup to work well and show more apps than you all have seen before. Special thanks to all that posted build.prop files in the post I asked for them... WEEKS of testing I believe I have come to the BEST setup!

    The features in this ROM are outstanding!
    Settings is fully opened
    YES... FULL LOCK SCREEN!
    Location services works 100% for any APP that uses location services.

    There is so much that works well.... I am not sure I can test it all!

    I think you all will like it very much. I think it is the best ROM I have cooked to DATE! This includes the 9G2 ICS ROM... Screw that .... THis will be better in my opinion as it is TUNED to 512KB of RAM perfectly!

    Stay tuned... I should have this new ROM ready by tomorrow evening. After that, I will port it to ALL the ROMs I have done including ROMs not for Arnova tablets but all tablets I have done so far.


    So hoping for more people to vote on my poll about pre-installing Google Play.

      i vote to have play already installed, i dont know of anyone not having it installed anyway

                  Also another awesome feature of this ROM is boot time is not slowed down by having more apps installed! I just restored my old Gigngerbread system using titanium and that works. So you can restore your apps with data to this! I had 164 apps installed before on my old 1.5 ROM.

                  Freakin sweet!

                  It's going to take me an hour to update the read me to explain everything this ROM has..... I hate doing read me's too....

                    Great news Bob I noticed that your version of Morkamod also took no longer to boot up with lots of aps installed.

                      Yea but wait till you see the boot time on this ROM as well as it's performance.... I thought Morka ROM was rather slow myself. Last version I tested was his 1.14. Nothing against Morka's work! I know he put a lot into it. After doing this myself from the ground up, this was a lot of work getting things to work right. But in the process i learned a lot more about the Android Architecture.

                          Nothing that special and no special tweaks really. Just the best combination of fingerprint, etc to make Google Play as open as possible.

                              Sorry all... the ROM will be delayed a little. My Dad is in the hospital and now they are going to do a heart cath and possibly a stint. I need to leave and be there for it.
