Wondering if anyone around the forum has any experience with the Coby 8042-4. I run a custom rom on my Arnova I got from this site and it is amazing. My 8042 will arrive tomorrow and Id love to get it rooted and get a custom rom with gapps on it.

If you have some links to the spec e.g. like what processor (rockchip, allwinner, etc) then I can have a look.

List of Models by Processor:
7034, 7036, 7048, 8048: Cortex A5 (Telechips)
7030, 7032, 7033, 7035: Cortex A8 (VI Micro)
7042, 8042, 9042, 9740, 9742, 1042, 1045: Cortex A8 (Allwinner)
At this time there is no root for the Telechips processors. Once a solution comes along I'll update the root utility for the new chips.

It's an Allwinner a10....I have the full factory image with the correct screen adjustments I made that can be flashed with LiveSuit if needed..Comment
