900 Supersport rooted ROM for Cube U30GT W BETA

Well here it is my first ROM for the Cube U30GT mini

This is a BETA ROM, unless you have experience of flashing yourCUBE U30GT W and an image available then please do not flash. I don't have a CUBE U30GT W so you are my testers.

I cooked this in the same session as the ROM for the mini, and expect that it too misses the correct permissions on the Superuser.apk so is not rooted.
Here's the fix. Reboot to clockwork recovery. Selectadvnced, Fix Permissions and wait until it's done then Go back and finally reboot and you should be rooted.

This is based on the latest cube 1.10 ROM.

One of the binaries I use for rooting has became corrupted. I'll be fixing this and them republishing soon.

Instructions.
Remove sdcard before flashing otherwise it mayget re formatted
Unzip
open the cube30gt_mini_900_supersport10folder
Connect the cube
Double click the ROM Flash Tool
startthe cube in flash mode (hold vol+ and power for 3 to 4 seconds thenrelease power then volume)
If you do not have drivers alreadyinstalled they are included with the rom kit in the driversfolder
Once drivers installed the flash tool should see your cubeand update the status at the bottom
Click the [Erase NAND (IDB)]button, you should see progress recorded on the right up to 4096
Oncecomplete click Flash ROM, again follow progress until done

Thecube should now restart, it will pause on the peas screen (assumed asno mini to test) a while as partitions are formatted mounted andinitialised

At the clockwork screen press the power button torestart (if you go on to use clockwork the volume + and - buttonsscroll up and down and power is select)

The Cube should now rebootshowing my boot animation and then start up in English.

I took it down as I have a permission set wrong. I'll be uploading the corrected version in the next few days. Are you keen to test it?

Well, i'm strugglin' for now with the official firmware and sd card problems (lots of chk files apper from nowhere).
I'll let you know if I decide to go for a beta test spin.

What version are you on, latest for the w is.1.10

I find with my h that since 1.7 the SD card is ok. I do take care to eject from windows if I have been connected by usb.

i'm on 1.10, and I found the problem, from time to time tablet wakes up with "card unexpectedly removed", seems that the problem is the sync using wi-fi.
If wi-fi is off or tablet awake there is no problem.
Gonna format card to ntfs.

This sounds as though it is a problem on all the 3066 based tabs. I'll look out for it on mine.

THis is a common problem on Yuandao too. there are 2 was to fix it.

1) Edit build.prop and add deep sleep
pm.sleep_mode=1

Realize adding this is basically like turning off your tablet! It will not get Email, notifications, or anything.

2) Go into WiFi settings and set it so WiFi never turns off in sleep.
THis is what I use actually.
