Cube T9 battery will not charge

I have just bought a new Cube T9 and when the battery was running low it turned itself off and I put it to charge. It will not start up again and does nor appear to be charging. I have seen a similar problem reported on Youtube and on another site someone recommended holding down the start button for a prolonged period to get the tablet to start again, it didn't work for me. My new T9 tablet is now a brick, has anyone any suggestions? I am guessing the battery has died.

maybe USB Charging on PC and wait a little bit longer,somtimes my T7 shows no Charging Screen when i press Start Button dont press to long 2-3 Sec use orginal USB Cabel and charger from Device maybe its broken try another but look for same Voltage and Things.
