Ematic Eglide 7 - RK28 ROM

    Ematic Eglide 7 - RK28 ROM

    Folks, by request we added an Ematic forum since it seems Walmart is selling a lot of these.

    I have done a ROM for the older Eglide 7 RK28 (not rk29) Tablet.

    Here is the ROM:

    I have also copied the posts related to it from ROM root requests to this post so you can follow along how the root went.

    Hi Bob, sorry for this noob question but how do I boot the eglide tablet into flash mode? There are only 4 physical buttons on the device. Starting left to right is the menu button, the home button, and the return button. The power switch is on the side of the unit on the right. I've flashed it before using sunigirl's roms but unstable and uses a different utility, and i have since forgotten how to boot into flash mode... Thanx in advance for ur advice!

      I do not know since I do not own this tablet. Read through this post as I am pretty sure the guy explained how to do it.

        Hi again Bob, thanx for you quick response. So I figured out how to get the eglide into flash mode, flashed it with your rom eglide_finless_root_1.1 but after flashing and initial boot, I get stuck in the android system recovery utility with a message that says: E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command. Not sure what to do next. Any assistance would be tremendously appreciated... Thanx again for your advice.

          How were you able to get the eglide into flash mode? I've tried everything..
