    Thats odd... the tablet worked didnt it?

      Actually, the tablet has been a complete mess since i got it. It would reboot after i tried installing most apps. Some apps wouldn't even begin to install. Then, when it rebooted, it would start in an older config. Even apps i deleted would show back up. I couldn't even get an ereader to work . I chalked this all up to the OS but apparently, it is defective. As i said, i'll let you know how the new one responds to what we did earlier. I would still like to get a custom ROM on the thing.

          Exactly what I thought. Thats not a RockChip format structure. I am not sure what it is either I have never seen that structure before. It doesnt look like All Winner or AMLogic.

            I don't have my tab in front of me but the system profiler program said it was an ARMv7 but nothing more

              Ther are all licensed as ARM processors but each maker has a different arictecture. So ARMv7 means nothing really.

                So I used ASI and it said WMT as the manufacturer.

                  I have one of these tablets as well. Let me know if there is anything that I could do to help. I would like to root this thing and put Google Play on as well. I have tried a number of options. When I side loaded Play it would run once and then crash, so I removed it.
