I just got this device and I would like to root it. I have very little experiance with rooting.

Can someone guide me on wher I can find info and help in rooting this device?

Hi ,

it is a Rockchip CPU but which , u can try "rooting" Apps , like King .... Kingo ... ,

OneClickRoot , it looks like Kingoroot shall work both PC & App ,

One more question. How do I unlock the bootloader? I tried "fastboot oem unlock" and "fastboot flashing unlock" but neither of them worked. In truth I'm not sure I was able to boot into bootloader. When I did adb reboot fast boot and then fastboot devices I got

0123456799 .................... fastboot

This doesn't sem right. So maybe that's why the bootloader didn't unlock.

I'm very new to all this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see people saying to never root without unlocking bootloader. This way if there is problems it can be fixed with flashing etc..
