Need help with Goclever R93

    Need help with Goclever R93

    Hi, I want to ask can you help me make full root (system RW) in my tablet, this is Goclever R93:

    is very similar to archos 10g2. I can unpack and repack boot.img (changed init.tr) repack (system.img -> ext3, deleted few unused apps so system.img is smaler than original cramfs) but after flash my tablet not start.

    OK first test for me

    I was able to flashmy 10 G2 with this ROM and it boots. Of course the touch screen does not work but this is good as I can test full root setup and make sure it boots before I publish a ROM.

            Never mind on your converted ROM. I have this one apart and should be pretty easy to make a ROM.

            Give me a little time.

              OK the new ROM is working

              It will have all of the features of my other 1.3 ROMs for the Arnova, Polaroid, and Nextbook7.

              I have not removed any of the built in apps so you will get what you had before. If you want me to remove stuff let me know.

              Now before I publish it can you tell me the instructions for how to put the GoClever into FLASH mode please. I want to update my readme instructions.

                GoClever into FLASH mode:
                - Make sure the tablet is powered on and plug in the USB cable.
                - Using a paperclip, press the reset button
                and you are in flashmode
                I found clone of my goclever and now testing this ROM (model NOVA S-M908HC):

                and I think this ROM is little faster than original Goclever.
                Now I can't wait to test your ROM

                  Artural, looking through the built in apps in the stock ROM it looks like Market 3.4.4 is already installed?

                  Is that correct? I injected my Market 3.4.4 but it may not be needed?

                    Yes, you are right in stock ROM is Market 3.4.4
                    I don't have any problems with market in stock ROM.

                      OK things are coming along nicely I think.

                      Question again on the Market. I see the Market344.apk however I think it is very stripped down. In your apps drawer do you have a calendar app? Does the contacts and sync with goolge work like for EMail contacts? Do you have Gmail with it?

                      If not I think my Market files will be better for this ROM.

                      What do you think and let meknow about above.

                        Contacts - sync ok
                        Calendar, Gmail, Youtube - not installed in stock rom
                        I think you can add all this google apps.

                          OK good. I am going to cook a ROM with my Market files. Even though this ROM boots on my Arnova 10G2 so I can make sure it is not a brick ROM , the touch screen does not work so I cant test anything. You will be my first tester.

                          So you almost ready? Are you going to be around for about an hour longer?
