Sorry to repost in this thread too, but this thing is driving me crazy

I'm desparate with this tablet (in terms of changing firmware or even recovery).
I'm stuck with stock 2.0.1 (that's what it came with) and after lots of trial & error, I managed to root it with Kingo ROOT (rerified by Root Cheker).

Installed Mobileuncle MTK Tools, backed up my IMEI and that's it. I cannot update my recovery.zip (that was provided in another post), neither install Riley's (custom) ROM.

Whenever I try to, I only get errors from the original recovery menu:

When I try to upgrade via Mobileuncle, the system reboots I get the belly up droid "No command.".

When I try via (stock) recovery, I get "Error: Partition table not match" for update.zip and a plain belly-up "Error!" for Riley's ROM.

            What am I doing wrong?

Note that the above errors were identical even before I rooted, that's why I used Kingo. I also used several different MicroSD cards, from 4GB to 64GB, same results.

If you are trying to flash my ROM, you need to use the SP Flash Tool to do it. My ROM isn't set up for flashing via recovery.

Unzip the RileyROM file and follow the directions in the First Time User's Guide.
