    EMATIC EGP007

    Here is it the NEOCR Rom for the EMATIC EGP007

    The Rom is Based on CM10 Sources, tweaked for Speed and Stability.
    This is the Initial Realase, tho there can be Failures.

    +++ Warning EMATIC has change the Touchscreen Inside, so we need a Rom Dump for
    +++ older Tablet´s of EMATIC EGP007. Please make a Rom Dump before Flashing !!
    +++ If your Touchscreen after Flashing not Work, please send me the Kernel.img
    +++ you Dump. Thx !!

    Feature´s:

    - Android 4.1.1
    - SnakeKiller GUI Mod
    - Speed Up Tweaks
    - Stability Tweaks
    - Root

    Apps:

    - Chrome
    - CM10 File Manager
    - Ghost Commander

    Can you write out a more detailed installation instruction? I can't get the ADB to recognize my EGP007. I've reinstalled the driver several times.

      open rk batch then conect usb to egp007 while OFF right after hold both volumes (i dont remember which exzact one it was so i do this) and constintly click the power button. if done correctly the egp007 screen will remain black and your pc will say it found a new device if needed direct it to the included ones for rk29

      once its done check loader and click erase edb button. it will take a bit but once done uncheck loader and hit run.

      about it man.

      (rockchip 2906 cpu+gpu with a mali400 4-2 ram chips equaling 512mb, idk if it runs a generic mali driver though as ii never checked the mali 400 drivers version. poped it apart last night.)

          I'm not sure if we can get them if you already installed the new ROM.

          As for getting a dump of hardware info that may be possible, not suresure.

          We will see if anyone else has ideas.

                i want to see if i can make a alternative rom for my device as a learning purpose.

                        starting with stock and spliting into moded stock > cynagen mod port > Emodic Rom is what ill probubly name it. idk.

                        need more ideas. eventualy ill work up some time to comp another firmware.

                          No Touch Screen

                          I was looking into this after my girlfriend got me one of these. Because i hate not having google play store. My girlfriends son thought he was helping and did your update well i was sleeping. It all seems to work except these issues.

                          1. Gallery crashes when i try to use the camera
                          2. It is slow but that is probably the hardware
                          3. I can't seem to do much without a ext sd card in the device. ie: no downloading files and maybe the gallery.
                          4. The home screen background seems bigger then screen is some apps are off the screen.
                          5. The hdmi options are gone from settings although that maybe just a change because its a different version of android. *Edit: The HDMI does work just don't know how to tweak it*
                          6. Battery Usage Doesn't work either.

                          I would like to be able to switch back to the default for now. But i can help with any testing if you like. I have done some work with ddwrt back in the day so i have a little experience. But most my linux work is with servers and routers.

                          I could deal with most except the camera any hints would be great.

                          Also a side note i tried to load the default img from ematic.us/FlashFiles/EGP007/update.img you have it loads up and the screen turns on. But the touchscreen doesn't work. I emailed support but from what i have been reading they aren't that quick to respond so i thought i would ask you if you have any ideas or links to a older default img that may work on my device its a EGP007BL but from what i can tell the BL is just because its black.

                            Question

                            Is there a way to take the kernel from your copy and put it on the flash rom from the company so i have the default install but with a working touchscreen and camera or am i just reading stuff wrong.

                            Also can you recommand a site for reading on building/changing firmwares for android some kind of walk though i have linux and windows machines either way is good just would like to look into this myself as well although the chances are low i can fix it quickly. But does seem like it could be fun working on my own stuff like i did with my old linksys routers. Just need a starting point and any tips you can provide please.

                            Also if i do get a response from support and they give me a firmware that works is there someone i should send a copy too?

                              My Camera wont work for this ROM

                              I try this on my TAB EMATIC PRO SERIES EGP007BL i successfully installed but the camera wont work
                              and the error is gallery ha stop working what would be possible problem cna you help me figure this out Thanks,
