Rom for Nextbook 7p12 se YF111 with root now available!

I have rooted the Nextbook 7p12 with the YF111 serial. This fixes the touch screen offset. This nextbook I got from the warehouse nz.
To root with stock rom. download the update.zip to a sd card. click turn of usb. then wait and click install update.

If you have bricked your nextbook, run this recovery rom that I made. It has already been rooted. It uses RK tools to flash it. (see readme)

NOTES: Nextbook have disabled ADB, so it only works over wifi.
Can these files be hosted on freaktab?
It would also be nice if a fast custom rom could be made. (like the ones finless makes)

some strange usb host that makes adb via usb not work
I rooted the completely clean and stock nextbook using update.zip. then. I dumped the rom myself using adb over wifi with this command "dd if=/dev/mtd/mtd1 of=/sdcard/recovery.img bs=4096" etc... then copied all those files to the rktools images folder and flashed my other bricked nextbook.

I wouldn't recommend overclocking. All it does it drain your battery. This tablet is quite fast anyway. I watch 1080 freeview tv and play need for speed most wanted and the graphics are amazing. In fact it goes exactly the same as my google nexus tablet with a quad core and nvida graphices. Don't overclock for the sake of it.

No, that is a AMlogic version. This wont work.

Hi stoked to see a rom for the nextbook, can I install drivers on windows 8.1 I notice in folders only goes as high as 7. Cheers
