Nextbook 7 root?

I own a Nextbook 7p12-8g running 4.0.4 with a kernel version of 2.6.34. I was wondering if i could root this device. the reason i want to root is that i cannot stand the memory limits they put on it. I want to allow the tablet to save apps on an external sd card that i plug in. I am not sure where to even go about this. Thanks ive tried downloading modifed ROMS and the root package but i do not know if they are compatible.
