Got a couple of these for Christmas presents for my grandkids. I guess this is the replacement for the NX700QC16G. I've been searching for info to root these tablets but can't find anything. Anyone have these and have rooted them?

this is the nextbook Ares line im assuming which those are the Ares 7 model correct?... i have the NXA8QC116B Aka Ares 8 the bootloader on these tabs are unlocked but the boot.img is encrypted ares 8 has root See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...overy-t3133165 you might try there heh nextbook does not have firmware even up on their site for these tabs plus if yours is running android 5.0 like mine we get the nice little memory leak with no fix from nextbook.
