    pipo kernel unpack on linux

hey is there any tool which i can use on linux to unpack a kernel.img

The kernel is compiled from source code to a binary file. There are no tools to unpack a kernel.img file.

While it would be great if we could....we just can't do that.

We have guys who have figured out how to patch certain areas of the binary files in hex code...but without sources, that's the best we can do.
