    All of those issues are going to be with the stock ROM

    Rmember all I did was make the system R/W and converted to ext4 to be faster. Did you play with the new stock ROM much after yesterday when you flashed it?

    Bottom line sounds like I need to mod the previous ROM version since it sounds like it does not have these bugs?

      A number of reboots fixed most but problem with some apps still getting the error message but nonetheless quite satisfied so far. Seems to have a battery drain problem. I read somewhere that someone came up with an app called nobar which removes the signal notification icon. Will try to look for it and install it.

        Since I am setup now to make MOMO ROMs, I will make another ROM based on the previous MOMO7 release you were use to.

        I will try to do it this afternoon.

              Older rom?

              Freeje, I downloaded the older ROM version and it will not boot on my tablet. Total brick! This has me worried as it should at least boot to the animation. I am thinking this is a BAD rom being hosted on the site.

              Can you please download it and flash the .img with RKBatch tool and make sure it works.

              This is the ROM version I am talking about. The second one on the list:
              image file name after extracting from the RAR: MOMO7-2918-P+G20110913.img

                  Ok. Sorry, I was out the whole day and I have just arrived. I did flash the stock rom that I downloaded about 3-4 months ago and I don't know if it's the same one that they have online. I will have to download it to make sure.

                      OK great. But I will be working in the dark this time since it will not boot on my tablet. So be aware I may make a brick ROM. I will apply may changes as I always do and hopefully it will be fine.

                        The older ROM is so slow compared with your version of the SDK. The problem with it is that it hangs/freezes more often than the old one. Good luck with it. I hope you can make it faster too.

                          The old ROM is Gingerbread 2.3.1. It is what almost all the other China tablets are running. And yes wait till you try my 1.4 ROM on gingerbread. WAY FASTER! I think you will like it.

                              Momo 7 RK2918 Android 2.3

                              Hi Bob, ran across your thread regarding the above tablet. Like the Tablet the thread was pretty much Chinese to me. I have been stuck with these with about 40+ of these tablets in my garage for a while now! The person i purchased these from has disappeared and the loaded Android is in Chinese partly. Is there a way to update this tablet to a newer version of Android. I found a use for them, if it is possible. I live in Anaheim so we are neighbors
