I may have bricked my PTAB8000 so I figured I would see if anyone has any suggestions. My tablet was having some screen issues (dead zone) so I thought I would try to upgrade the ROM via the sdcard/hard reset approach. In my carelessness, I may have released the buttons too quick and am stuck with a black screen and a near dead tablet. Holding power, I can still hear the computer USB tone turn on/off trying to access it but I am unable to access anything.
Any suggestions? It's out of warranty at this point and I'm not sending another one back to Southern Tel. Thanks!
