    Finless ROM V1.4 - Full Root, Full Google Play store!

    Hello again all you Ramos W13Pro users!

    This ROM is the same as my 1.2 and 1.3 ROM except it is made from the Stock Ramos ROM from 8/23. My test shows so far so good for me! I did not have to add my WiFi fix to this one at all.

    Like my 1.3, I removed the version check on the update script. This will allow you to DOWNGRADE, UPGRADE, etc from any other ROMs you are currently running to this ROM with NO "assertion errors"! So it's been "freed" from BS version checks by me

    I have also updated APP Injector and gave you ALL of the apps I removed as part of debloat like the live wallpapers, etc.

    Also the FLASH11 patcher does work this time! The problem in 1.3 was the Ramos recovery.


    OK enough babbling........

    PLEASE READ THE README.TXT IN THE ROM KIT DOWNLOAD FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS!

    Features:
    1) Fully Rooted! Not semi-rooted! This includes /system being mounted as Read/Write by default.
    It is using the latest ChainDD Superuser.apk and SU binary BUILT IN!
    2) Full Google Play store! I have patched the files to give full access to the Play Store.
    This means things like Google Chrome, etc show up now when you login!
    BUT... this does not mean all will work! I have not modified build.prop.
    You can if you wish to get even more compatability....
    3) It is debloated of bloat apps! I left only what I felt was needed.
    4) Some tweaks to allow full ADB access(root) and debugging and some other fixes I normally do on all ROMs.
    5) App Injector. While it is not installed it is in the ROM kit.
    I have supplied some APPs that on this date would not work when downloaded from Google Play!
    This includes a version of Youtube that will work on this ROM along with some other
    Google Apps that either do not show up or wont run on this ROM.


    Here is the ROM download:

    ROM -> Ramos W13Pro - Finless ROM 1.4 - Full Root and Full Gplay (150 megs)

    The "working" Flash 11 patcher is already in the ROM kit download so this time no need to download another update. See the READ ME! Yes you do need to put this ZIP on SDcard and use the update app to install it! It is NOT built in the ROM as I cannot do that for some reason (flash fails as a system APP). It must be installed as a user data APP.

      Great work! Will try it out now. :-)
      edit: while installing the ROM and the flash11patch, it drained all my battery again (73% > 23% in one minute)...

      I was also wondering if other people also have random screen lightups when the device is not in use? Sometimes when I'm on my couch, I see that my tablet lights up and shows the lockscreen and then it will turn off the screen again. Can this be the softwar (it was with stock rom, but now less with the custom ones) or do I have faulty solders in my device?

        Pay close attention to the status bar message when it wakes up. It will tell you what it is doing. Possibly syncing mail, etc. One usual cause for this is a corrupted file system on the SDcard. CHeck it with windows.

            Well... so what do you Ramos guys think of this ROM?

            If it gets too quite around here I may move on to some A10 ROMs I have been wanting to work on

              Hi

              This is my first post on this forum so hi, hello.

              I started using your rom since 1.3 and I had some issues. I mean system was laggy and flash seemed to be the problem. I tried to downgrade to 731 and after some errors I manage to do that but stock rom isint wat I wont and what I need. So... I got one question for you - Can I upgrade my 731 stock rom using your recovery from 1.3 rom? I mean I dont want to wipe all my data. So I hope u can answer and by the way sorry for my bad english. :P

                  signature verification failed

                  Hi Bob thanks for your work.the 1.2 works great but I tried the upgrade to 1.4 and I get the message E:signature verification failed

                  Can I do something to upgrade?

                      g00se Maybe try to update 1.3 first and than 1.4. O.o
                      Also it could be the version of your rom. I mean if u have some stock rom ( not 1.2 form Bob). Form what I heard u cant downgrade on stock recovery - 1.3 makes it possible.

                        That is correct. The stock recovery will not let you downgrade etc. I can't fix that as you need a custom recovery to do that. Also correct that as of 1.3 I removed that check.

                            So far so good. Seems pretty stable. Key functionality all there. Chrome works :-) Good job.
                            ... have you tried ustream app. That is one that I can not make work....

                              from Spain thank you very much for the new Rom 1.4 for Ramos W13Pro, works fine

                              I have a problem, when the language android system is english play store works fine, but when language system is spanish "español" play store say´s "error" when I want to download and install any aplication.

                              You can help me, how I can to solve the problem?
