    NEW - Ramos W13Pro V1 & V2 - Finless ROM V1.5 - Full Root, Full Google Play store!

    Hello again all you Ramos W13Pro V1 and V2 users!

    This ROM is the same as my 1.4 ROM except it is made from the Stock Ramos ROM for the V2 Dated from 9/17. YES FOLKS even though Ramos says the V2 ROM is not compatible with the V1, they lied Once I removed the device ID check in the update script, I was easily able to flash the V2 ROM on my V1. So this 1.5 ROM is for BOTH V1 users and V2 users.

    Like my 1.4, I removed the version check on the update script. This will allow you to DOWNGRADE, UPGRADE, etc from any other ROMs you are currently running to this ROM with NO "assertion errors"! So it's been "freed" from BS version checks by me

    I have also updated APP Injector and gave you ALL of the apps I removed as part of debloat like the live wallpapers, etc. Use APP Injector to put back what you want. Also in the APP Injector package I added 2 older Google APPS that are not on the Play Store anymore. News and Weather, and Google Listen for Podcasts.

    Also I give you the FLASH11 patcher. This will add Flash 11 to your Tablet. Sorry I could not cook this in the ROM as a system APP. The Flash 11 patcher is already in the ROM kit download so this time no need to download another update. See the READ ME! Yes you do need to put this ZIP on SDcard and use the update app to install it!


    OK enough babbling........

    PLEASE READ THE README.TXT IN THE ROM KIT DOWNLOAD FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS!

    Features:
    1) Fully Rooted! Not semi-rooted! This includes /system being mounted as Read/Write by default.
    It is using the latest ChainDD Superuser.apk and SU binary BUILT IN!
    2) Full Google Play store! I have patched the files to give full access to the Play Store.
    This means things like Google Chrome, etc show up now when you login!
    BUT... this does not mean all will work! I have not modified build.prop.
    You can if you wish to get even more compatability....
    3) It is debloated of bloat apps! I left only what I felt was needed.
    4) Some tweaks to allow full ADB access(root) and debugging and some other fixes I normally do on all ROMs.
    5) App Injector. While it is not installed it is in the ROM kit.
    I have supplied some APPs that on this date would not work when downloaded from Google Play!
    This includes a version of Youtube that will work on this ROM along with some other
    Google Apps that either do not show up or wont run on this ROM.

        Camera problem

        The main camera isn't working with the v1.5!
        But the new version of youtube works fine.

            Ah ha! Somthing to work on

            I can fix that I am pretty sure BUT fixing it means a patch. So if you have a V1 you will need to run a update.zip package to pacth the camera. V2 people leave it alone.

            So we found the first hardware difference! It appears based on the camera app that the V2 has no front camera? The camera APP has no way to switch cameras? Is that what your seeing?

              Some apps use the front camera -> works.
              But the Camera app uses the back camera-> Error, the app closed. I can't switch between cameras.
              W13pro has no back camera, only fron camera.
              W13pro (V2.0)

              So I downgrade to the 1.4.
              But the 1.5 kernel better than 1.4 (latest version of youtube is OK).

              I suggest you to add the google_patch.rar (from ramos site) to the ROM pack. Many google apps will be downloadable from the market (chrome, maps, skymap, google+ and many non google apps, etc.) and work on w13pro.

                The google patch has already been added to my 1.4 ROM. However when I looked at 1.5 ROM it was already there! All it is, is framework files and XML permission files. Again they are in 1.5.

                As for the camera. 1.5 is built off the stock V2 ROM. So as you say V2 does not have back camera. The V1 has both! So the V2 ROM the camera APP does not allow switch of camera. I will work on that

                  Hi, I install it and having the same problem with the camera, i only can use the front camera. The other things are excellent, i recommend to use the chameleon launcher and gmd gestures app, my w13pro looks and works amazing, i cant wait to install the fix of the camera and use it. Thanks from argentina Bob!

                      Bob,

                      I tried to reflash your rom and I am getting a failure: failed to verify whole-file siganture.

                      Edit: Never mind, it was my error all is well.

                        Thanks for everything Bob, the v1.5 ROM works perfectly on my v2.0 tablet. I have a question for you though, is it possible at all to add GPS Settings under the locations settings menu?

                        I say this because with my last tablet, that didn't have GPS built in, I would use my Android Smartphone's GPS through wifi on my tablet. But that tablet had GPS settings even though it had no built in GPS. Is that possible with this tablet at all to add the location settings for GPS?

                          Its more than just adding the menu. Tablet must also have drivers to support GPS on USB port. I bet it doesn't have this. What happens if anything when you plug in your GPS? You might try a GPS app from play store and see if it is recognized? If so then it is possible for me to add the setting in menus.

                            Right now I can connect my gps via wifi just fine and the tablet gets the signal but since i cannot physically enable the gps location service under the settings apps like google maps and navigation that require that gps location be turned on wont recognize the gps signal even though the tablet is receiving it.

                              I tether my gps signal from my smartphone to my tablet over wifi, it works perfectly. I just need to be able to enable the gps location setting.
