Is there a stock ROM available for the Yarvik? Without a stock ROm to start with or you do a ROM dump, I cant make a ROM. So I need a stock ROM.

no there is no stockrom to download.
and now the sad news is im stuk on bootscreen.
and can't do recovery with the hardware buttons. for hard reset.
is there a chance to solving this
Not without a ROM to start with. If the manufacturer does not have a download then someone needs to dump the ROM using ADB.

OK so this is a A10 processor ROM. The polaroid guys are far more experienced than I with A10 ROMs and livesuite. While I am sure I can make a custom ROM, the problem is I have NO WAY TO TEST IT!!!!!!
On top of that it requires some new tools I am not use to using yet. Like Livesuite and the ROm creation tools.
I plan to get an A10 tablet to learn but right now I am sorry I am not comfortable doing a ROM without having a device I can test my work on.
I am going to move this thread to the "other tablets" forum. And then make a post in the polaroid forum to see if those guys are willing to help. At least for now until I can learn about this ROM architecture.

If nothing else having these all in one place could be useful . The hard part is that this chip is so new on the market that it doesn't have much known about it. There are some leaked documents out there (some are findable in the links below) and Allwinner is saying that they are planning on releasing more soon. So I suppose I can give you these for now, and then see if we can get more specific info on what you are planning on trying to do. If nothing else this should get your head spinning real good

Hi!
I haven't really found any kind of guides on how to build a complete AOSP android build from source (kernel and software) for Allwinner A10 tablets like the Ainol Novo 7 Advanced or the Teclast P76Ti.
I have a Teclast P76TI (rev4), and the...

i booted my yarvik tab364 with the menu key pressed on the front and than the power button
and your tablet boot into cwm recovery now
i maked a backup and it works flawlessly.
joehoewwwwww.
i did a restore and it was also successfully.
look at this site http://tabletrepublic.com/forum/ivie...hread-883.html the hardware is the same just a 7inch screen instead of a 8 inch.
i wonder of the roms also works with my tab.
i downloaded the gingerbread rom its worked but the screen is not automatic stretched to 800x600. its 800x480 so you have 1 1/2 screen but everythings works ok .
can you replace the script for the resolution?
so i have a gingerbread rom for my yarvik tab364.

Hello.
I want to buy me a TAB450, but only if it is possible to use it like others.
So I already read thaat root is possible and installing Google Play is also not the problem.
Now I wanted to know if it is possible to install cyanogenmod on it and found this thread via google.
I'm very happy that someone else has the same wishes like me but the thread is confusing me, because you talk sometime of TAB450, sometime of TAB364.
So, what is actually possible? And what will be possible soon?
Should I buy the TAB450 or are there any disadvantages?
If you need the untouched ROM for something I could do it for you, if you tell me how :P
So, I hope you can help me and will answer my questions, cause I'm a big noob.
Thank you in advance
