I have what appears to be a version 1 101T.

But I've been having some problems with the on/off button not waking the device easily.
I was going to flash 1.8 but you all refer to 2gb & 4gb versions.

This device comes with 32gb internal storage.

Does that mean a flash of the standard Finless rom/s will leave the device reporting or having insufficient memory?

[Delivered Nov12. Device has metal back. No branding. Twin front mounted speakers. Charger plug sticks out from socket. Android 4.04. v3.03. Recognised by flash software upon USB connection - though I've not tried flashing yet.]

No, you will still have 32GB. The 2GB and 4GB is repartitioning of APP space. It will use SOME of your 32GB to make a 2GB or 4GB space for installing apps! No worries there about loosing your total 32GB.
