ermm... here you have the module, place it in "/system/vendor/modules" then to load it, fire up terminal emulator and "insmod /system/vendor/modules/xpad.ko"
You need load it every time you power down the box or if your restart it!

Thanks for the Great work SuperCeleron its much appreciated. Not so sure abuot the "Under Construction" and the evil Android Kodi Logo's though

I primarily use plex and the experimental player in it is much better than the stock ROM but still lags a bit and the normal android player doesn't play all of the 1080p content so i defer to MX player.

Superceleron... it seems your ROM is great.
First question: in what operating system are you working? ie Windows or Linux or whateva

I've tried all what is possible that change the annoying USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8)
I can't get Phoenixsuite to recognize Allwinner device

                      Any idea?

I appreciate your link, that's exactly the procedure I do to update using USB cable.
The problem is that instead of activate an Allwinner device it shows a device like this: USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8) which is in fact a code for allwinner VID_1f3a
Then Phoenix never see an Beelink X2 or zidoo connected... than no update is possible.

There is a mess with the devices recognized... or a problem with ASUS USB (mi laptop)
Now I know that I will have to isolate the port in some way... or use other computer.
There is no problem with Windows 10, nor with the USB cable, nor with phoenix stuff.... all that is working in your machine.
Let me say that i have too much USB devices connected already...
and that I've been dealing with this gadget and android since long time ago... I've fighting with this kind of things since tablets appears

Your clues have been pretty helpful... thanks for that

                            Superceleron,
Something that could be very useful for my problem is to get a copy of the files that are actually working in your windows 10 for the device you successfully update.
ie USBDrv.inf; AICharger.sys and USBDrv_.........sys. This are located in c:\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\ ... this can be seen in driver files detail in device manager.

                            TIA

Well that is weird but the driver that is loaded on mine is this one on "C:\Program Files (x86)\AllWinnerTech\PhoenixSuit\Drivers\AW_Driver" folder and "DriverVer=01/24/2013,1.0.0.1"
But i don't have the device anymore :/

I succeeded installing a new version of the firmware (X2_203K4), next will be to install your ROM... but first I'll do another backup using TWRP 2.8.6 H3 which I flashed again, as updating remove it.. That was the only stuff that was removed. I don't like installations from scratch, except for special situations,. In this aspect I like very much Rckchip devices, which are more polished updating also AML powered device are so tricky when is comes to do some update.

The problem was how bad implemented is PhoenixSuit. I recall that I had a an Ainol Novo 7 Aurora tablet, powered by Allwinner chip. It suffer of the same problem. It never shows that your device is correctly installed, then it's needed to install using "brute force" bt pressing key many tiemes pressing key and all that silly procedures.. happily it offers upgrade with format or just update.

BTW... I've mange to install Kodi 15.2 with all the stuff which is needed... that another tricky task... but happilly is very well documented. That wasn't lost in the upgrade.

Anyway super... thanks for your clues again.
