Hey guys, i am thinking about buying the Tanix T6 with the android pie9 .....Is there a lot of problems with this box? is the clock display visible?

Guest I like this budget box a lot and would recommend it over everything else for this under-$49 price point, except maybe the Mecool 2GB/16GB Google Certified S905x2 that is around the same price but with that Mecool it has a bad wifi so it must be used with Ethernet cable only. When buying the TX6 make sure it has 4GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB and has the Dual-Wifi chip like the original review posts details.

About the Clock, yes it is visible, but it has an acute viewing angle of about 70 degrees to see all the clock digits, meaning you can't be far from on-center point looking at clock to see numbers clearly in a large room.

If speeding more money is not an issue, Tanix does make good products and they just released a more expensive then this but still budget oriented TX5 Pro with Amlogic S905x2 that would be good choice. Or if you don't mind waiting 1 to 2 months to receive the new Amlogic S905x3 chip being released by Beelink you can PreOrder/Presale one at Gearbest.com for $80. Amlogic new generation chips are clearly better then everything else under-$100 from Rockchip or Allwinner.

1.put the file in root sd or flash drive
2.Insert the SD card or flash drive into the included tv box
3.an inscription appears on the screen - an update is found - refresh?

RiCkLaR_atvX ..Thanks I am using the new box in the bedroom and need a good WiFi one, so MeCool is out, and the wanting a clock cause at night and being straight in front of it, will work.

I can wait a few months and i will check out the Tanix T5 Pro, the Amlogic S905x3 sounds interesting, the money thing isn't a problem i just want a reliable box, it wont be used everyday, not like my Nvidia Shield as my daily driver as they say..lol
