        Hello,
I have a problem with the andoird_winusb driver on Windows, when I install Burn Tool it installs but does not show up in Device Manager. Only when I select and add the driver there via "Install legacy hardware" it appears in the device manager, but with error code 10 (The device cannot be started). I have the same problem under Windows 11, 10 and Windows 7.
I have also already downloaded and installed the driver via Amlogic directly, but there too there is the same error.
My TV box (Orbsmart 87) is not recognized by the PC.

Has anyone also had this error and can help me?

          Hmmmmmm

Uninstall all versions of USB Burning Tool/drivers
          Even desktop shortcut
          C/drive etc...

          From search in browser install
Amlogic USB drivers for Windows/all versions.

Now install latest version of USB Burning Tool
Which ever you are using for your box

Should be prompt for install driver

          Good to go

          Maybe will help

          Happy Testing

            Thanks for your feedback.

I have tried everything. The driver that comes with the Burn Tool, the driver from Amlogic that I downloaded directly. Only the libusb-win32 Usb Devices driver it can install properly, but this is needed for the Burn Tool 2.x.x. But due to the S905x4 processor I need the Burn Tool 3.x.x. In the Burn Tool folder there is also a ViewUsbDevices program, but when I connect the TV box it does not appear in the program, whether in recovery mode or normal mode.

You have not understood what I posted...
You should not have 2 versions of USB Burning Tool....

              Reread and follow instructions..

Amlogic USB driver for Windows all versions is not the same as .
              Àmlogic USB Burning Tool v x.x x.drivers..

For Amlogic S905X4 you need version 3.20 is recommended. 3.18..

                Thank you.

I downloaded and installed (InstallDriver.exe and dpinst64.exe) the Amlogic USB drivers from here "https://gsmusbdrivers.com/download/amlogic-usb-driver". After that the libusb-win23 Usb Devices showed up in the device manager.

After that I installed the Burn Tool v3.2 and the android_winusb driver showed up in the driver manager but again with error code 10.

                  Okay you are progress!!
                  ignore error code.

                  Try to flash Firmware now
                  See if box is detected.

There can be other issues besides drivers.
                  Length of cable
Make sure is USB OTG port
                  Holding in reset
Sometimes need to apply power supply
                  Etc..

                  Good luck

I can hardly believe it. It worked!

                    Thank you very much.

I was testing around for 2 days with 3 different OS and just forgot to install the right driver.
