Airmouse MX3 - some buttons not working

Dear guys, I have 2 boxes and Airmouse just works fine with em (S905D on Marshmallow and S912 Nougat).

I tried then on an S905X ATV Nougat and Marshmallow. Stock remote works, but "OK" button of Airmouse MX3 does not.

Where do the buttons depend on? Keylayout? If so I'd just copy over from S905D...

    Hi ,

you can try , but nou sure if it shall work , the keylayout file values can be changed too , with "root" , for this

you must search here , you can find many Info about that on FT , i am not a Pro in that , good luck ,

    greetings / gefattern

How to get HID device with VendorID and ProductID ? There is an app called co.com.usb_host_hdi_read it puts out desired IDs

Get the apk, open device gently then check. Maybe you guys could post your results together eith keylayout here?

        looks like this:

          Keylayout locations:
          • /odm/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX_Version_XXXX.kl
          • /vendor/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX_Version_XXXX.kl
          • /system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX_Version_XXXX.kl
          • /data/system/devices/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX_Version_XXXX.kl
          • /odm/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX.kl
          • /vendor/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX.kl
          • /system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX.kl
          • /data/system/devices/keylayout/Vendor_XXXX_Product_XXXX.kl
          • /odm/usr/keylayout/DEVICE_NAME.kl
          • /vendor/usr/keylayout/DEVICE_NAME.kl
          • /system/usr/keylayout/DEVICE_NAME.kl
          • /data/system/devices/keylayout/DEVICE_NAME.kl

            Thanks for sharing!

            USB Host HDI Read Terminal

(If PlayStore says incompatible device )
            APKPure.com https://apkpure.com/usb-host-hdi-rea...d?from=details

I would not want to crack open the family's remote, or when I had an expensive remote. Still a great tool and suggestion.

I've not tried "Button Mapper" which (adds another app layer to a device).

If I ever get a master list of remotes (a PDF should exist somewhere?) I'll post it.
