My test with ( tronsmart draco aw80 meta )

First, for the stuttering video, must be changed DPI 160 to 240.

    1) INTERFACE :

    - Very fast start
    - Very fluid menu
    - Very fast internet browsing
    - Root

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    2) connection :

    USB 2 : OK
    USB 3 : OK
    SDCARD : OK
    ETERNET : OK
    OPTICAL : OK
    ------------
    REMOTE : OK

clic short, power bouton : Standby
long click, power bouton : stop the tv box

    ------------
    SATA : ok in NTFS.
Now it works when I connect the sata at startup.
( DO NOT HAVE THE BOX DRACO, UNDER VOLTAGE ), otherwise does not start for me.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    3) VIDEO IN STREAMING :

720p film in streaming = ok, is perfect

1080p film in streaming = ok, is perfect
    ---------------------------------------
    VIDEO IN SATA :

with kodi - Film MKV 720p --> stuttering a bit
With MxPlayer - Film MKV 720p --> ok perfect
With BsPlayer - Film MKV 720p --> ok perfect

Audio : DTS 5.1 = ok, is perfect
    ---------------------------------------
    codec h265:

I tested the codec H265, with the vidéo Big Buck Bunny 1080p.

With MxPlayer = ok, is perfect
With BsPlayer = stuttering, early , then it's going
    With kodi= does not work

Did you try changing the DPI from 160 to 240? That fixed the problems I had with video playback.

thank you alwaysbless, ( ok geekbuying, the problem is resolved )

            For the video :

1080p720p film in streaming = perfect

4K sata, stuttering a bit less with MX player.

            with Bsplayer, strong stuttering.

            with KODI, does not work.
            ------------------------------------------------
            movie playback in sata :

with kodi - Film MKV 720p --> stuttering a bit

With MxPlayer - Film MKV 720p --> ok perfect

With BsPlayer - Film MKV 720p --> ok perfect

            ------------------------------------------------
            For the audio :

DTS 5.1 = ok, is perfect
            ------------------------------------------------
            For the sata :

I wrote an error with the SATA, I now erase.

Now it works when I connect the sata at startup.
( DO NOT HAVE THE BOX DRACO, UNDER VOLTAGE ), otherwise does not start for me.

I'm An updated and other correction on my first post.

I'm curious. When you see a perfect 1080p stream, is that in XBMC?

If so, have you pressed "O" on your keyboard to check dropped/skipped frames?

At 240 dpi, I have no problem with 720p video, either in MX Player or XBMC. But I've yet to find one true 1080p stream that plays perfectly smoothly. My M8 and Fire TV do much better with the same files.

Hi Zahir, I do not use XBMC directly.

I bed videos via internet links and then, android proposes to use me a video player
                ( xbmc, MxPlayer,BsPlayer ...)

                      Eric:

Try some of the higher bitrate files here (from 45mbps to 70mbps): play them in XBMC and then compare how they play in MX Player. I think the problem may be not enough optimization between XBMC and the Power VR (GPU) drivers because they play much smoother with MX Player.
