    Hi,
Does this ROM compatible with MK80 Plus? I just received it from Hong Kong.
    Thanks

It is but you have to change 2 files to make the remote control work.
Remote control config file: sunxi.ir, mouse pointer config is inside the build.prop.
What doesn't work is power on the device by remote control. Haven't found a solution yet.

Yes it is compatible. I would use the homlet rom instead though. I have it on my mk80 plus and it is running very well.

Read the thread on the homlet rom and install no frills cpu. I have it on mine and the box is very quick. The only problem so far is with streaming apps such as netflix and nbcsn live I have to have the screen set to 90% instaed of 100%. For some reason it produces lines in the video playback at 100%.

Awesome, installing. By the way, I got mine on **** for 220 bucks for the MK80 Plus, good price? Received the box in 3 working days, shipped from Hong Kong.

Got mine from usellisell.com and used the 5% freaktab discount code. Came to £127 with free delivery. Took about 5 days from liverpool to norwich. Bit closer than hong kong lol. Very happy with it though. My firetv has been relegated to the bedroom now

                    music tags in draco

Am I the only one who has problems with music files?
Whatever rom I tried - including this one - it can not read properly flac meta tags. Music can not be sorted by author, title, album , genire etc. It must be something wrong with draco's stock player. I have moved some test files to a pendrive. When connected to my Lg G2 phone everything is sorted correctly, each file can be played. When plug the pendrive into Draco they can not be sorted and some files can not be even played. However I observed it depends on the player. Eg. bubble upnp can play all the files when its internal flac decoder is enforced. xbmc/kodi and rocket player can read properly the tags and sort music accoringly.
Anyway, I am waiting for a rom which can read and play all music files correctly.
Any idea or chance to fix it??

                      Nice work.
I used imgRepacker to unpack/repack the image file.
Now, I want to add support for my USB based remote by adding "*.ko" in system image and start this module during boot.
For this, I am able to unpack/repack the system.fex file. But unable to do same for boot.fex
Could you please let me know how to unpack/repack the boot.fex including ramdisk to update init.*.rc files.

                      Thanks,
                      Raju.
did you get init.d scripts to work?

I'm having a hard time making them run at boot.
I've checked permissions and group ownership.

                      Code:
                      busybox sh /system/etc/init.d/00_test
does work when ran manually (while su #).

Init.d implementation could be flawed, has anyone else tested?

I did fully test it but with only a simple script that writes a log file to /data

What are you trying to do in the script?

This did the trick for me + correct permissions
                          Code:
                          #Init.d support by Finless
                          service runparts /system/bin/busybox-smp run-parts /system/etc/init.d
                              class main
                              user root
                              group root

In my ROM I "added" a better busybox. I left the old one incase for some reason the system needed it due to other scripts or whatever. So possibly you removed that busybox?
